Grade: Top 10 Pick
Strengths: Winslow is a elite competitor with a NBA ready body, which will allow him to compete early from a physical standpoint. He shows the ability to put the ball on the floor, get to the rim, take or give contact and finish. He developed into a very good spot up shooter from the college three point line. He’s a decent post player that took advantage of smaller defenders by beating them up in the paint. He has a good basketball IQ, knows how to set screens, move without the basketball and get open. Winslow is an elite on ball defender, he checked positions 1-4 during his college career at an high level. He is a great help defender, will rotate, take charges, challenge shots at the rim and get in passing lanes. Gives max effort at all times. All-league defender potential. Has the potential to be a very good role player on winning teams. He is willing to do the small things needed to win games.
Weaknesses: Winslow isn’t a great 1 on 1 scorer. He isn’t a great ball handler and doesn’t do a good job shooting the ball off of the dribble. He lacks craftiness with the ball and isn’t a natural scoring wing. He’s an average leaper, doesn’t finish over athleticism and length consistently. He will have to prove that he can be a floor spacer by extending his range out to the NBA three point line and improve his 64% shooting from the free throw line.
