In the quiet of a night, ten years past,
Allaah’s light found me, made my path vast.
From shadows deep, where I used to roam,
Guided by His mercy, In Islam I found my home.
No more bottles, no more chains,
Free from the grip of those numbing pains.
Alcohol’s ghost, now a whisper in the wind,
Allaah’s guidance helped me transcend.
I stood at the edge, facing time behind bars,
Criminal charges could’ve left lifelong scars.
But Allaah’s mercy, like a soft morning rain,
Washed away a possible jail bid, and lifted my pain.
Striving each day, in fear and in awe,
To obey Allaah’s orders, to follow His law.
Dreaming of Jannah, and how great it can be,
Praying He grants it, eternally filled with glee.
As a Muslim man, a father, a friend,
With each passing year, I continue to mend.
Patient and wise, softer in tone,
Guided by Allaah, I never feel alone.
Created for one purpose, His worship alone,
No partners, no rivals, His throne is His own.
Year 44, and still on this quest,
To be the best I can, in His light, I am blessed.
Each step, a testament, to His boundless grace,
In every trial I go through , I seek His face.
From dawn to sunset , His mercy is clear,
Ten years of guidance, The Quran and sunnah I truly endear.
Year 44, with wisdom accrued,
The fear of Allaah in my every move.
Striving to please Him, in all that I do,
Hoping for Jannah, and I want that for you too.
