Strengths: Alexander has great length and a strong body, which makes up for his lack of vertical explosion. He will be able to compete on the boards right away, even at 19 years old.He is a really good rebounder, boxes out, goes up strong with two hands, grabbing boards in traffic. He is a terror on the offensive glass. He uses his strong upper body to take hits and finish at the rim through traffic. He has a good feel for blocking shots, quick off of his feet and has good timing. Runs the floor hard and hustles. Good role player potential.
Weaknesses: Alexander is very raw offensively. All of his scoring came off of lobs, and putbacks from offensive rebounds. He has no game with his back to the basket and his lack of leaping ability hinders his ability to finish over length consistently. He’s physically ready to play good post defense, but lacks the know how.
