Strengths: Hunter has NBA size and length, and a sure fire NBA skill: Shooting. He is a spot up shooter, can come off of screens, set his feet and shoot it well with range. He can hit the mid-range shot when contested as well. He has NBA range on his shot coming into the league. He has textbook form on his shot, gets his shot off very quickly. He did a little bit of everything in college, averaged almost five rebounds for his career, was a willing passer, and used his length to get in passing lanes and block shots.Very good free throw shooter.
Weaknesses: Hunter isn’t going to be a 1 on 1, go to scorer as a pro. He doesn’t create offense for himself or others. He has issues finishing at the rim in traffic and through contact. He played a lot of zone in college and will have to adjust to playing 1 on 1 defense versus NBA wings. He’s only 185 pounds and needs to hit the weight room and get stronger overall so he can compete defensively.
