Shaquille O’Neal announced his retirement two days ago via twitter(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ETW-gjZlIE0) and it brings a hall of fame career to a end. I remember watching him , Chris Jackson(later changed his name to Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf), and Stanley Roberts playing together during the 89-90 season in the SEC and raising hell. I had never seen a man his size run, jump, and show the agility that he displayed. I’m 30 years old and I never had a chance to watch Wilt Chamberlain play, but I’m from Philly, Pa and I grew up hearing the stories from the oldheads about how dominant he was and the type of athlete he was as well.
